This project was developed as a new system of “badges” for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation through the award winning AD agency Argus. These were created for a couple of milestone projects.

we proposed developing unique visual identities in the form of badges. What is a badge?

A type of logo that is contained within a simple shape, including taglines and other related copy (such as dates, endorsers, etc.) Because they're in a container, they tend not to compete with other logos or visual styles in the same space. Our goal was to give project managers, developers, construction crews, and other stakeholders an image that will be appropriate
in uniforms, signage, and other collateral, without diluting the MassDOT brand or creating a confusing hierarchy of
visual elements.
